  How to use the rotary evaporator

1. Turn on the low-temperature coolant circulation pump.

4. Adjust the height of the distillation flask, rotation speed, set the appropriate water bath temperature.

5. Steam first stop the rotation, and then pass the atmosphere, and then stop the pump, and then finally remove the distillation flask.

  When using the rotary evaporator, each joint needs to be coated with a layer of vacuum grease before installation to ensure the vacuum level of the reaction process. If the vacuum level is too low, pay attention to check the gas tightness of each joint, vacuum tube and glass bottle. If the sample viscosity is very large, the rotation speed should be slowed down, slow rotation, the formation of the liquid surface is conducive to solvent evaporation.
